Our Story

Alcolase started in 2020 with a question that felt personal to us: why is there still no real solution for alcohol intolerance?

Over 540 million people, mostly in East Asia, live with a genetic condition that makes even a single drink painful and socially isolating. We set out to build something that could actually help.
